With over 35 carefully selected and approved dairy companies, we have the ability to source a wide variety of products from throughout Europe, ensuring the highest quality and authenticity. We boast a range of over 100 organic and conventional cheeses.

Because of our specialist knowledge we are able to keep abreast of European trends, introducing new and exciting products to the UK market and sourcing the exact product to meet individual requirements.

We understand the demanding technical requirements now evident in the Food Industry and work closely with all our suppliers to ensure they meet these rigorous requirements. The majority of the dairies we source from are certified to the British Retail Consortium technical standard or equivalent. All dairies are regularly visited to ensure that the quality and safety of the products are guaranteed on an ongoing basis. The close relationship we have developed with our suppliers is a key element of Futura Foods success.

Based in the heart of Gloucestershire, our dynamic team strive to continually develop our services. The dedication of this team is key to meeting the needs of our many customers from a wide variety of trade sectors.

Here's an introduction to our key personnel...



John Svensson, Managing Director - with 34 years in the dairy industry both in Europe and America, John has an expert knowledge of the European dairy market. John founded Futura in the UK over 15 years ago, offering authentic European organic cheeses. John's focus is on developing supplier relationships, product sourcing and US business development.

Mark Humphrey, Sales Director - with 25 years dairy industry experience, Mark is responsible for industrial, wholesale and foodservice sales. With a background in Italian cheeses, Mark is also responsible for sourcing Italian products.

David Moffat, Commercial Director - David has worked in sales and marketing within the food & drink sector for 20 years, much of this time has been in the dairy industry. Joining the team in 2006, David is responsible for developing the retail business including sales, marketing and new product development.

Dr Aidan Wilson, Technical Director - educated to PhD level at Queens University in Belfast Aidan's background is in Microbiology and he has over 12 years experience in the Dairy Industry. After running his own consultancy Aidan joined Futura Foods in 2006. He has extensive experience in Quality Systems and auditing and is now responsible for maintaining the demanding Technical requirements of today's food industry.

Lisa Pratt, Logistics and Buying Controller - responsible for logistics, order processing, stock management and supplier liaison.

Rhian Kinman, Trade Marketing Manager - responsible for the Futura brand, packaging, advertising and marketing communications.

Ellen Svensson, Technical Assistant - responsible for technical administration and secretarial support.

Louise Ratcliffe, Finance & Logistics Administrator - responsible for financial administration, UK retail claims systems and sales support administration.
